Resumé of meeting in Denmark Grundtvig Learning Partnership ASEA.

16th of May 2014,

Present: Denmark, France, Czech Republic, Absent: Cyprus and Italy,

The meeting opened by Danish partner: Lise Wille Cholewa. All the points of tasks mentioned in Cyprus meeting was discussed in order to see what we have done so far and to see if we still have tasks to fulfil – you'll find the list enclosed in this minute.

Danish partner made a resumé of issues we have debated in the project – both in meetings and in training courses and on fb group. She mentioned that this project has had a very important impact on her personal life too – learning from the partners – for instance Cyprus partner has a society where people socialize a lot and meet informally – exchanging ideas of how to act in sustainable manner. And also French partner – the thought of creating ”love things” emphasized by French partner. She also mentioned that she realized that socialising brings happiness – more than possessing new material items.

Sustainability covers a much bigger area than the issue of ”waste”, (that we focussed on quite a lot), and we debated this – sustainability is mentioned in the Bruntland report and covers many aspects of life. French partner mentioned that you can change your way of considering waste – he sees it as a treasure too.

We were talking about the fact that you can use your democratic right in affecting sustainable choices – finding out what political parties are voting for sustainability in for instance the forthcoming EU election. We have options of influencing our society, and Danish partner mentioned as an example the ”European patent law”, we are going to vote about.

This is only a short resumé of all the issues we debated. We talked about many things.

We had a workshop during this meeting – ironing the Logo of our project old T shirts that we brought to the meeting.

Czech partner – brought a lot of presents to this final meeting. They brought eggs coloured with natural material – toys made of felt (recycled wool), and bags for shopping made of recycled tissue, enabling you to avoid using plastic bags when shopping! They explained how the different items were created. They also brought healthy cookies, beautifully decorated.
